Marty Miller, BCPA
Health Advocate
As a BCPA, Marty is dedicated to assisting patients with complex healthcare needs build a strong foundation of communication with their providers and natural supports. As a person with lived experience of neurodivergence and LGBTQ+ identity, they are committed to supporting people in the face of stigma and provider bias. They strongly believe that who you are should not be a barrier to accessing competent and dignified healthcare. Cultural humility and a person-centered approach are the core values they bring to any situation.
They have several years of experience in case management and behavioral health among both adult and youth populations. They've supported multiple LGBTQ+ nonprofits with crisis intervention, resource navigation, and support group facilitation, and currently assist the EDS ECHO program as a co-facilitator for their Health Advocacy program.
